Gratitude + Growth | May 2026

continuing to serve with purpose, stewardship, and care

We are deeply grateful for our team, clients, and partners — and for the trust they continue to place in us through meaningful work. With that in mind, we are pleased to share several updates that reflect both continuity and growth within our team.

Intentionality in How We Grow

Growth is never accidental. Through a collaborative, multi-step process, our leadership evaluates each candidate with intentionality — prioritizing alignment in mission and values alongside technical excellence and creativity — ensuring that every addition to our team strengthens not only our capabilities, but the relationships and culture that define our work. The result is a team where every new member arrives not just prepared to contribute, but positioned to strengthen how we serve our clients.

Deepening Our Bench

This intentional approach has already taken shape as we warmly welcomed five new team members. Collectively bringing more than 70 years of related experience, they expand our capabilities in site planning and design while deepening expertise across our architectural and interior design teams — better equipping us to take on complex site, interior, and design challenges and deliver thoughtful, innovative, and well-resolved solutions.

Stronger Delivery Through a Balanced Portfolio

Our custom residential portfolio is particularly active — with two Colorado homes wrapping up, two new lakefront Southwest Michigan homes, and lake home renovations in Northern Michigan in construction administration. This healthy diversity of project type and phasing allows us to thoughtfully align our people, expertise, and resources in a way that best serves each client and project.

Celebrating Project Milestones Beyond the Design

Design is only the beginning. In construction and closeout phases, we stay fully engaged — advocating for our clients, teaming with our builder partners, and seeing every project through.

Projects entering construction:

  • Hope College Economics + Business (with LMN Architects + OAK)
  • Immaculate Heart of Mary Early Childhood Center (with Rockford)
  • Northern Michigan Lake Home Renovations (with Mike Schaap Builders + Studio M)
  • NorthPointe Christian School Russwood Elementary Addition (with Wolverine Construction)
  • Retina Specialists of Michigan (with First Companies)
  • Timothy Christian Middle School Addition (with ECI)

Projects celebrating completion:

  • BrightSpring Health Services | Gateway Pediatrics Therapy (with Pioneer Construction)
  • Illiana Christian High School Sola Center Auditorium (with Van Ryn Design Build + Schuler Shook)
  • Scottsdale Christian Academy Early Childhood Center (with Chasse Building Team)

Strengthening Our Ability to Serve

Our integration with Stonewall Studios continues to advance with purpose. In recent months, we have focused on refining how we pursue and execute work, strengthening core business practices, and building relationships across a growing national network that now includes nine studios. These connections expand our access to diverse expertise and allow us to thoughtfully assemble teams tailored to each client and project.

At its core, Stonewall represents a both/and approach: individual studios flourishing in what they do well, supported by the shared strength and resources of a broader platform. Through collaboration and shared knowledge, our team is better equipped to navigate complexity and deliver meaningful results.

We are grateful for the trust you continue to place in our team and for the opportunity to serve alongside you. As we look ahead, we are committed to thoughtful, purposeful design, strong partnerships, and outcomes that genuinely support your mission.

With deep gratitude,

Peter H. Baldwin, AIA, NCARB
