Begin at the Impossible
In a world that rewards speed and certainty, what if the first step toward change is not action, but attention?
In this talk, Michael Gulker invites us into a way of seeing—one that refuses to reduce others to headlines or categories. Drawing from his work at the intersection of conflict, formation, and community, he will offer a fresh approach to navigating tension and difference: not by avoiding it, but by staying present to what—and who—is right in front of us.
Through story, reflection, and gentle challenge, Michael will explore what becomes possible when we begin with humility, stay curious, and practice hope—even in the most unlikely places.
