Mike Novakoski is the President and CEO of EV Construction and EV Group, leading firms in construction and staffing based in Holland, Michigan. With over 35 years of experience, Mike is renowned for cultivating award-winning workplace cultures and championing employee-centric leadership. EV Construction has become an award-winning company known for its innovative “Built Around People” culture.
A founding partner of Become Unmistakable, Mike is the author of Right Brain Justified, Become Unmistakable and Unmistakably Elzinga & Volkers. His transformation of EV became the foundation for the BU methodology that has revolutionized organization culture across industries. As a Harvard Business School alumnus and active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), Mike is a sought-after speaker on leadership, innovation, and organizational culture.
Mike has served on dozens of non-profit and for profit boards and currently sits on the boards of Holland Hospital and the Clark Retirement Foundation. His leadership philosophy centers on creating meaningful connections by creating trust through vulnerability, engaging team members, and delivering unmistakable experiences.
Mike resides on a beautiful horse ranch in western Michigan, with his wife, Liz. They have four children and 2 grandchildren.
