a platform for global impact
When World Renew set out to build a new home for its global relief and development work, it wasn’t just seeking more space, it was seeking a place that reflected its mission. The result is a 31,000-square-foot headquarters and warehouse, where form follows faith, and every detail points to the communities they serve.
AMDG’s interior design team collaborated closely with World Renew and Pinnacle Construction to create a space that is as inspiring as it is functional. The team worked creatively to ensure the workspace would tell a story and reflect the heart and mission of World Renew. Finishes and design elements were selected intentionally, handcrafted lights, corrugated metal, wood pallets, bamboo, and thatched roof elements echo the textures and materials found in World Renew’s international partner communities. A custom metal map mural anchors the open gathering space, visually connecting staff and volunteers to the countries they serve.
Bright hues throughout the interiors were chosen with purpose—each a nod to the vibrancy and cultural diversity of the people at the heart of World Renew’s mission.
The building’s expansive 24-foot industrial ceilings posed a unique challenge: how to create intimate, people-centered spaces in such a large volume. AMDG’s design response blends thoughtful ceiling treatments and lighting with soft furnishings and layered finishes. The result is a range of zones—from open office workstations to café-like gathering areas—that foster collaboration without losing warmth.
In addition to office and warehouse functions, the building includes a hands-on workshop and volunteer training center—a place where community members learn carpentry skills and assemble home repair kits. Built with growth in mind, the flexible open warehouse allows for adaptation as needs evolve.
For World Renew and their team of volunteers, this headquarters space is a daily reminder of World Renew’s calling: to renew hope, reconcile lives, and restore creation—one community at a time.
