Timothy Christian Schools approached AMDG with a clear vision: to create a space that reflects their mission of serving God and His people while meeting the practical needs of a growing middle school.
The site presented unique challenges, including unsuitable soils leftover from previous excavations. To address this, AMDG implemented geopiers, stabilizing the ground by drilling to bedrock and filling the columns with flowable material. This ensured a durable foundation and allowed the project to proceed efficiently. Strict municipal and zoning criteria added another layer of complexity, but AMDG guided the team through sitework revisions and creative design solutions, producing an improved traffic flow and a new bus turnaround.
The new design celebrates Timothy Christian Schools’ mission by integrating elements that inspire learning and faith. 21st-century education classrooms, science labs, and a competition gym were intentionally designed to enhance educational delivery and spiritual growth.
A legacy walkway emphasizes athletic achievements and reflects the school’s commitment to its community. These spaces represent more than functionality; they embody the school’s dedication to shaping young minds and hearts.
A demonstration of collaboration and design excellence, the project brought together AMDG, Executive Construction Inc. (ECI), and community stakeholders, resulting in a facility that not only serves its purpose but also inspires its users. Engaging donors, school leadership, and community members, the team worked to prioritize objectives while honoring budget and timeline constraints. Early cost modeling and schedule development ensured seamless execution, culminating in a facility delivered on time and on budget.
Timothy Christian Middle School now stands as a vibrant hub of education and faith, a symbol of the power of intentional, mission-driven design.
