Timothy Christian Schools engaged AMDG to help rethink, enhance, and transform their Trojan Stadium track + field experience. Supporting not only athletics but also school-wide gatherings, the new stadium fosters a strong sense of community and Trojan pride.
The expanded facilities introduced a modern athletic complex design to the school’s campus. The client-centered design aligns with Timothy Christian School’s brand through the creation of a cohesive and inviting entrance featuring a metal entry archway and creative signage, along with a new concession building, and an expanded 1,000-seat bleacher system with state-of-the-art press box and PA system to enhance the spectator experience. Athletic field enhancements included the addition of a collegiate-level eight-lane running track, long and triple jump lanes, a synthetic turf field for soccer and lacrosse, and five new tennis courts.
The project successfully navigated zoning and site challenges, particularly related to stormwater management and community interest. AMDG worked closely with neighbors and local authorities to ensure the project had the necessary support and approvals, making this outdoor athletic facility both functional and respectful of its surroundings.
The reimagined Trojan Stadium reflects the school’s vision to provide spaces that encourage fellowship and school community. Closely collaborating with Executive Construction Inc. and a team of trusted civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and food service consultants, the team expertly delivered the sports complex on time and within budget. By prioritizing the school’s goals, AMDG helped design a facility that enhances a variety of athletic programs and fosters a sense of unity and pride across the Timothy Christian School campus.
