“Great architecture isn’t just about creating beautiful buildings—it’s also about the people that we create for. It requires empathy, careful listening, and an understanding of people’s needs from the first conversation to the finished project.”

Gabriela Larumbe

Architect

Gabriela is passionate about using her talents to serve others. Within the built environment, she’s drawn to traditional and vernacular architecture and what it can teach us about how we design and build today. She finds building science especially compelling for its power to help create healthier structures for people and for our world – an interest that inspired her to become a Certified Passive House Consultant.

Gabriela received her Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame, interning at architecture firms in London and New York prior to graduation. She is also an alumna of the King’s Foundation (formerly Prince’s Foundation) Summer School Programme for the Building Arts, where she was introduced to stone carving, lime plastering, and woodworking.
