Rwandan dancers welcomed the crowd gathered together for the opening ceremony of World Renew’s new office space. AMDG was grateful to attend the event and honored to team together with World Renew and the other design and construction partners who helped create this new space.
World Renew assists people who are affected by poverty, disaster, illness, and injustice both nationally and internationally. Their need for this new space was to bring their domestic and global teams together under one roof and to have a collaborative interior workspace. Originally an industrial warehouse with a ceiling at 30ft in height, the team incorporated design elements such as wood overhangs to “lower” the ceiling to a more natural height for an office space. The interior design reflected the wood materials they bring in aid for hurricane relief. Bright colors are used throughout the space and a large world map installation celebrates the many cultures they serve.
